She has quite a collection of Metros; a 1983 MG Metro in Zircon Blue, a 1995 Flame red 114 GTa and finally a 1998 Hawaiian Blue 114 GSi... as well as a 1983 black MG Metro and 1983 Oporto Red Vanden Plas in storage! British Motor Museum online exhibition stars

The British Motor Museum is to host a brand new exhibition to celebrate one of Britain’s best-selling small cars - entitled “Metro at 40”. For the first time the Museum will be hosting the exhibition online as part of its drive to have more online and accessible insights into their collection. The exhibition, which went live on 9 September, is free to view from their website and gives everyone the chance to celebrate this iconic car’s special birthday.

The National Metro & Mini Show 2020, celebrating 40 years of the Metro

A one day celebration of the two iconic British small car marques at the British Motor Museum. 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the Austin Metro and 30th anniversary of the Rover Metro. Due to Covid-19 the BMC & Leyland show will also be taking place on the same day, providing even more cars to see at the show!
