a quick question:

Are the brake servos the same from MK1-MK4?
Are late Mini servos also the same (Yes, linkage is different, but still: The servo could be used and is easier to get and cheaper.)

this is acutally an interesting question that I have been researching my self.
I haven't tried with the mini servo you talk about but I suspect you are correct that the metro servo and this mini servo are the same (not the linkage)

but I have found out that minispares stock a master cylinder repair kit that will fit a metro mk2 with very little modification.
