Heater hose

Post by Wibblyp »

My matrix to head hose is on it's way out, the one with the bleed screw. Anyone know of a cheap alternative ? Rimmers require 70 quid for a replacement.
Thanks

Yes, I tried that and it then split further along after 24 hours. Just done the same again but I'm running out of length to keep doing it. Wonder how rot sets in on the hoses as if I could save the bleed end and join a new bit in, I'd be happy.

To be fair i ended up replacing the entire hose woth bits of silicone elbows and bends and had to do away woth the bleed but i think you can get jointers with bleed screws in from ebay
