Hi does anyone know what the standard ride height should be on a mg turbo. I measured mine from centre of wheel up to the wheel arch and it varies from 170mm to 180mm over the 4 wheels but it seems low. Hoping to find somewhere to get the hydrogas topped up but cant seem to find what the correct height should be. Cheers Tommy

Haynes says front 327mm rear 316 mm to 84 331mm onwards. Measured from hub centre to arch lip

Hi Tommy, the hydragas register has the following ride height

Austin/MG Metro 1980-1990 All models except Van Hydragas
Front 327mm ± 10mm at 17°C
Rear 321mm ± 10mm at 17°C

If you go to the site there is also a search option to see if someone on the register is close to you.

Thanks for the help. Phoned a garage (from hydrogas register) about 20 miles away which does work on classic cars including mg and triumph restoration and will top up for £25 which seems ok. Also got my sizes wrong cars is at about 280 front 270 rear so roughly 50mm low which makes more sense. Cheers Tommy
