A-series front end structure

Hello
I have an a-series standing without front subframe and wings and was wondering what was structual because the front chassis legs are pretty easy to move up and down just by pulling or pressing on them by hand but obviously the front subframe will stillen this up a lot. But what about the wings, are they also structual?
