ive not seen new sockets in along time. i would try mgf seals, if they are still available.

you could be loosing crank sensor. initial ignition will purge the injectors. on cranking they will continue to spray, but with no spark to fire.

well its done, mg tf radiator and fan fitted, with zr pipes, bit of a faf but easy.
