to be honest like you said the r65 boxes are cheap if I were you I would stick with that plus I'll be running a 160 on one I'll let you know if it goes bang .

all depends on how bad the bearings are and if they have worn the arm or not there's some radius arms on eBay at the moment for around 40 quid

Not much done on this recently as it's been far too bloody cold but new arches came for the rear, bought myself an mgf radiator and some rear radius arm bearings as well as a new hand brake cable.

as far as I am aware yes the wires are in the same place

should do but if not just extend them a bit.
