The stock radio units fitted to the Metro & Rover 100 series are programmed with a four-digit security code as an anti-theft measure. If the battery is removed or goes flat you may need to re-enter the code next time the radio is turned on. This procedure is written for the R660 unit but also applies to other Rover radios such as R570, R670 and R681.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Austin miniMetro, celebrate with Metropower by posting your favourite Metro-ing memories!

A one day celebration of the two iconic British small car marques at the British Motor Museum. 2020 marks the 40th anniversary of the Austin Metro and 30th anniversary of the Rover Metro. Due to Covid-19 the BMC & Leyland show will also be taking place on the same day, providing even more cars to see at the show!

To celebrate the occasion we've created a brand new range of merchandise, which will be available online and at shows throughout the year.
