I haven't been on here for so long I had to sign up again and the whole forum has changed!
I've got loads of K-series stuff that I was saving with the idea of building another 1.8 but I've had this stuff for years and I've slowly come to realise that realistically I'm never going to get round to it. I don't really have the time to photograph everything and list it separately but if you see something in the photos you want, give me a shout. I'll try and list the bits I definitely know I have below.
Stuff I know is there:
- Full Sportex exhaust system. Twin box with a homemade decat section.
- Tubular manifold and downpipe with lambda sensor
- Red band steering rack
- GTI/MGF brake setup with drilled & grooved discs. The discs and pads were brand new when I put them into storage, probably less than 500 miles on them. Surface rust on the discs but almost no wear. - SOLD
- Anti-roll bars, front and rear. Come with all brackets, bushes and drop links. The front has polybushed droplinks..- REAR SOLD
- GTI front seats. They are a little dusty from years in storage but would probably come up nice with a shampoo. Couple of small fag burns. My mate threw the passenger one across the workshop because he thought I was binning them, so the subframe is slightly bent but I think it will straighten and bolt up fine.
- VVC 160 head. I bought this from AdrianSI (I think?) years ago. I never did anything with it, just took it out the box and stuck it on a shelf. From memory he'd put new valve guides in and relapped all the valves in. There's some slight surface rust on some of the valve faces but it's in otherwise good condition.
- R100 headlights. One of them has a broken mount. Probably good if you need spares or the glass.
- R100 rear light clusters.
- MEMS 1.9 MPI engine loom - SOLD
- Header tank
- Standard downpipe with lambda sensor
- MEMS 1.9 MPI ecu from a 1.4 8v GTa
- MPI 8v inlet manifold & throttle body
- MPI 16v inlet & throttle body
- Standard 1.4 brake calipers with discs.
- 8v cambelt covers
- Foglight blank
- Loads of other assorted crap. I've got fuel rails, injectors, an alternator, starter motor, 8v head which I attempted to 'port' when I was young and niave (proabably only good for practicing on yourself or weighing in), 8v rocker cover, camshaft, window regulator, hydraulic tappets, coolant elbow, etc.
I've got a ton more stuff at the workshop which needs sorting before I put it up. I've got a full MEMS 3 1.8 solid cam engine which needs to go. Also got some GTI alloy wheels, GTA alloys, wide steels and a few other bits which I'll list next time I go up to the workshop.
I've been out of the Metro scene so long I don't even know what any of this is worth anymore, so I'm taking offers on everything. Most of this is heavy and I don't have time to go posting loads of stuff so most of it is collection from near Dunstable, Bedfordshire. I could be persuaded to post smaller items. I drive between Luton and Northampton most week days and I don't mind meeting you somewhere that's not too far out of the way.
