Hi chaps and Ladies,i am new to this forum,my name is Phil,ive just bought a very nice 1983 Austin metro 1300 Auto (1275 engine)i am looking to convert to a manual gearbox. The auto box in the car is fine ,just a bit clunky coming back down through the gears ,but fine,i also have a spare Auto box box if any one is interested(not tested) So i am after a manual gearbox if any one has one,could do a deal with my Auto Box's or not ? ,oh and i also have a very nice Austin A30 1955 803cc.

Hi,and many thanks for the reply,are the gearbox's reconditioned ,how much are you are you wanting for one and it would be down to shipping costs ?or i may be able to get a ferry ride.

not reconditioned no. but you ought to be able to buy one in the UK for less than the shipping from denmark alone.
