Diesel R115 Radiator

Post by dodger »

I have heard that the R115 Diesel radiator is a good upgrade if running VVC and doing track days.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between that and a standard rad? The dimensions look the same.

Thanks

A fair few people have done it, but I'd put an mgf one in. There was a guide on the old forum for how to install it.

The radiator is twice as thick, and also longer, but you need to get the top metal pipe to fit it. Also the 115Diesel rad is now a fair rare item to find.
The radiator also has an extra slim line fan on the front, and the regular one on the back. I assume as the exhaust manifold is in the way for two regular metro fans.
