Just found this and wondering if anyone has actually used it? It seems to be the only "upgrade" you can get in terms of a filter.

I have not tried that but did try something which I fell is similar for the a-series engine where you place a magnet in pipe where the oil is picked up from sump and I have to say that catches very few things. It seems like the magnet on the sump plug and the filter it self is capable of catching what needs catching.

On the other hand then product you link to cant hurt :)

To be honest I wouldn't really consider spending that much money on something like that but definitely wouldn't if what you say is true. Doesnt seem worth it at all.
