hydrogas schrader valve thread

Post by DotMatrix »

so I bought two of these to try and fit them to the gas side of a pair of hydragas elements to re-gas them. Everywhere I read they talked about them being M10x1 thread but I think they are 1/8 BSPT thread does any of you know?

I would have thought they would be imperial rather than metric due to the age of the hydragas systems

I have been reliably informed that all the connections are M10x1 except the valve stem which is 1/8" BSPT.

I too received the same information.
M10x1 is a common break pipe thread, so can be used as a gauge to compare with the Hydragas connector.
